Učka Nature Park covers an area of approximately 160 km² and offers many beautiful hiking trails. From the summit, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Kvarner Bay as well as the inland region.
The protected area is also home to several rare animal and plant species.
A well-maintained romantic park located in the heart of Opatija, very close to the beach. Inside the park, you can find Villa Angiolina, which was built in 1844 in neoclassical style.

Margarita Park is the second-largest park in Opatija and is located in the northwestern part of the city. The park invites visitors to relax and enjoy the variety of different exotic plant species.

Vela Draga is a canyon in Učka Nature Park, surrounded by impressive rock pillars and cliffs. A short and easy hiking trail leads to the canyon, rewarding visitors with spectacular views and an incredible panorama.
Belaj Castle now operates as a winery in a truly unique setting. You can enjoy a pleasant walk through nature and end it with a glass of wine made exclusively from grapes grown in the castle’s historic vineyards.
One of the largest waterfalls in Istria, located in the middle of untouched nature. It is not only beautiful to look at, but also suitable for swimming. Brave visitors can even jump directly into the water from the cliff. The surrounding rocks also offer perfect spots to relax.
A fantastic experience for the whole family. At speeds of up to 55 km/h, you will fly along the zip line across the Pazin canyon and past the historic fortress. A must-do activity for adventure lovers.
